CIDA Inc. Community Unity Fair Success!!
CIDA Inc. Had the privilege of hosting an amazing Community Unity Fair July 1st, 2023. The fair was a testament to celebrating the rich history of Port Arthur, Tx, as well as embracing the future of green energy such as solar energy in our community. We had an excellent and fun time of enjoying amazing food from a local favorite 'Tha' Chicken Shack, raffle prizes, amazing music from DJ Andrew, family friendly games, all while discussing just how important green energy is in communities such as Port Arthur, and what our community wants, needs, and concerns are surrounding solar energy.
We would like to thank our amazing partners the Houston Advanced Research Center, SETRPC Lighthouse program, Climate Impact Capital, and SweetWater Energy Services for coming out and making this event an absolute success for our community. Their demonstrations and educational materials ensured that residents were made aware of what green energy consists of and the local resources these organizations provide. We would like to thank our community and residents who took the time to attend and discuss the future of Port Arthur Texas.
We would also like to thank the CIDA Inc. team for hosting and making this event a positive, fun, and safe environment for our community.
