Tired of Emissions form German Pellets Company - Protest to be held

May 30, 2017

Port Arthur, Texas, May 30, 2017 - The people of West Port Arthur Texas and surrounding communities have decided to protest the German Pellets company, due to the constant smoke that invades the community, and the company’s inability to stop this.

It has been almost 2 months and still the people of West Port Arthur have found no reprieve from the harmful smoke which has been flooding the community since April 15th 2017. This nuisance has restricted our ability to enjoy our property on the inside and on the outside. And some residents have even had to go to the hospital. To demonstrate our dissatisfaction with the German Pellets company in our neighborhood, we will be holding a protest outside the Port of Port Arthur’s main gate. The protest will commence on Saturday June 3rd at 10:00am at the 400 block of Houston Avenue, Port Arthur, TX 77640.
